North Point Bolivar Facility

The GIPF, owned and operated by Tekoil Gulf Coast, is located on the southwest region of Goat Island, approximately two miles from Port Bolivar, Texas. The field contains a warehouse, and a docking facility which accomodates two barges of approximately 18,000 bbl capacity each simultaneously, and transfers roughly 1,000 bbl/month to said barges. Throughput volumes in September 2006 average over 20 bbl/day of crude oil, minimal gas, and approximately 125 bbl/day of water.

North Point Bolivar Facility

North Point Bolivar is the southern most of the four offshore fields and includes a single lease spread over parts of seven blocks. A platform lies in Block 343 directly northwest of the GIPF. The lease platform serves as a gathering point for oil and gas production from the wells while on its way to the GIPF.

Produced crude oil and natural gas are sent from the platform to the GIPF via separate 4 inch pipelines. The gas is compressed on Goat Island, and then sent via pipeline to Smith Point (in mainland chambers County to the north). Produced oil is stored in tanks on Goat Island, and then barged out. Produced salt water is sent to Tekoil Gulf Coast's own SWD well on Goat Island.
